Three Dog Bakery
Background
Founded in Kansas City by entrepreneurs Dan Dye and Mark Beckloff, Three Dog Bakery is the original bakery for dogs. Bill Reisler and Jeff Teeven visited the first store in Kansas City and led the first round of investment in the Company in 1994 through their predecessor firm KCEP. The business grew at a substantial rate over the next several years, although the Company was considerably ahead of its time offering dogs all natural human quality treats and food. Over the past five years, attitudes towards pets have changed worldwide and Three Dog Bakery has capitalized on this trend with renewed growth.
